Some of the major projects undertaken by MULTI:
Population and Family Health Project, 1997-2000: The project comprises of 87 health centers in 33 districts spread over all Nepal. Financed by IDA, the project comprises of upgrading of existing health centers and new construction. MULTI provided the following services:

Architectural planning and design
Field survey, mapping and soil investigation
Detailed structural designs including live loads, dead loads and stresses analysis
Detailed design of engineering facilities as electrification, sanitation, air conditioning and ventilation, landscaping, fire safety, interior decoration and furnishing
Advise on construction method
Preparation of bill of quantities, rate analysis and cost estimates
Preparation of detailed architectural and engineering construction documents and drawings
Bid evaluation
Preparation of tender documents and specifications for civil contractors

Lalitpur Municipality Office Building Complex, (LNP) 1988-1992:
The Lalitpur Municipality Office Building Complex at Pulchowk comprises of 2200 sqm of floor area. The building is designed with traditional Nepali architectural style. It provides office space for more than 70 employees. MULTI was involved in the preparation of the conceptual master plan, architectural planning design, structural design and the construction supervision. MULTI provided the following services:

Masterplanning and Conceptual Design of Kirtipur Campus, IDA/HEP, 1994:
Kirtipur Campus of Tribhuwan University situated at south west of Kathmandu is the seat of Higher education in the country. With IDA loans, The University plans to prepare Masterplanning of the Kirtipur campus for future development and Conceptual Design for the development works. MULTI in association with ACN, Nepal and Eggleston Macdonald, Australia provided all aspect of consultancy including field survey and preliminary design of infrastructural works as required by the Masterplan.

Design and Construction Supervision of Buildings in Kirtipur Campus, Phase-I, 1995-1996:
MULTI in association with ACN has completed the detail design, tender documents, evaluation and selection of Contractor for extension of library building, extension of administrative building and new construction of Controller of Examination's building (Area 5100 sq.m.) being executed during the first phase of implementation as per the Masterplan. MULTI is involved in the structural design and construction supervision of these building. The present structures has adopted the use of pre-stress pre-cast slab of various thickness considering the economy aspect of the project. Besides all these MULTI provide the following services :
- soil investigation;
- detail structural design included earthquake analysis;
- advise of construction method;
- preparation of bill of quantities, rate analysis and cost estimates;
- preparation of detailed engineering construction documents and drawings;
- preparation of tender documents and specification;
- construction supervision (Contractor -SIETCO, China)

Design and Construction Supervision of Tourism Service Centre Building Complex in Pokhara, ADB/DOT, 1993-1996:
The project financed under ADB loan for Tourism Infrastructure Development Project consists of Asian Garden, lakeside footpath construction, and Tourism Service Centre Building Complex, which after completion will facilate better services for the tourist. MULTI has undertaken site investigation, structural design, drainage, pre-qualification, bidding documents, Construction Supervision and Contract Administration. The work is ongoing.

Building Complexes for Secondary Crops Development Project, ADB/DOA, 1994:
The project under ADB loan consists of architectural and engineering works of building complex in 15 location in 7 districts namely Sarlahi, Chitwan, Bardiya, Banke, Surkhet, Dang and Salyan. The type of building includes extension of existing buildings, and newly proposed staff quarters, service center, office building, garage meeting halls, ladies hostel, market shed and godwons. MULTI carried out collection of data, conceptualization of design, detailed engineering and architectural design in Auto-CAD software, cost estimation, pre-qualification and bidding documents.
